Umeco plc announces changes to the interests of Directors & PDMRs in 25 pence ordinary shares, which result from:
- a purchase of 10,000 ordinary shares made by Andrew Moss on 27 March 2009. The price paid per share was 126.132 pence;
- a purchase of 10,000 ordinary shares made by Stephen Bird on 26 March 2009. The price paid per share was 130.000 pence.

Deferred shares referred to in the table above represent ordinary shares that are held under the rules of the Umeco Bonus Plan. These rules provide that the director/PDMR becomes the legal and beneficial owner of the deferred shares but on terms that they must, in normal circumstances, be retained for a period of three years and may, in certain circumstances, be forfeited for no payment if the employment of the director/PDMR ends within that period.
