Directors' Share Transactions

Persimmon plc (the "Company") announces that on 27 March 2009 it was informed that David Bryant, executive Director transferred 2,040 shares in the Company to his wife, Mrs Daryl Bryant on 25 March 2009. 

As a result of this transaction Mr Bryant and his wife remain beneficially interested in 524,778 shares or 0.2% of the issued share capital of the Company (excluding Treasury Shares).

The issued share capital of the Company on 30 March 2009 (excluding shares held in Treasury) was 300,187,875 ordinary shares.
