Director's shareholding

Michelmersh Brick Holdings plc (AIM:MBH), the specialist brick, land development and landfill company, has been informed that Alan Hardy, a director of the Company, has today acquired 130,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 35 pence per share.

Accordingly, Mr Hardy now has a direct beneficial interest in 1,392,917 ordinary shares, representing approximately 2.40 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company. In addition Mr Hardy has a further non-beneficial interest in the Mrs BVS Hardy Settlement 1965 and Mrs BVS Hardy Settlement 1985 which together own a further 5,166,474 ordinary shares. As a result Mr Hardy now has an interest in a total of 6,559,391 ordinary shares representing 11.29 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
