SURGICAL INNOVATIONS GROUP PLC DIRECTOR / PDMR SHAREHOLDING

Surgical Innovations Group plc ("Surgical" or "the Company") announces that it received notification on 6 November 2009 that Professor Michael McMahon, a Non-Executive Director of Surgical, has increased his holding in the Company to 11,088,281 ordinary shares representing 2.97 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company. Professor McMahon increased his holding by purchasing 362,207 ordinary shares at 1.37p and 357,142 ordinary shares at 1.40p on 5 November 2009.
