Notification of transactions of a director

REA announces that it has today received notification in accordance with the requirements of Rule 3.1.2R of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules of the Financial Services Authority that on 6 November 2009 Mr L E C Letts (a director of REA) acquired 2,776 REA 9 per cent cumulative preference shares of £1 at a price of £1.0318 per preference share.  As a result of this acquisition, Mr Letts holds a total of 15,000 REA 9 per cent cumulative preference shares of £1.
