BOARD CHANGES AT AFFINITY WATER

Affinity Water today announces that Tony Cocker has informed the Board that he plans to step down as Chair of Affinity Water in January 2021. He will remain Chair while the company finds his successor.

Tony said "I wish to step down for personal reasons. I have very much enjoyed working with the Board, executives, colleagues, and shareholders.

It has been an intense and transformational time. Daiwater Investments acquired AWL in 2017, I joined as chair in January 2018, and Pauline became CEO shortly afterwards. Since then we have laid the foundations for a more sustainable business. With the support of our shareholders we have strengthened the Board, appointed a new executive team, clarified the company's Purpose, improved customer service and operational performance, and developed an ambitious but realistic long-term framework within which we can deliver better outcomes for our customers and the environment.

Of course, I will miss working with colleagues, and seeing the outcome of the positive changes we have made. However, I know that I will leave the company stronger and more sustainable than when I joined."

Pauline Walsh, CEO, said: "I would like to thank Tony for his commitment and support during what has been an intense and challenging period for the business. His experience and constructive approach have been essential to the progress we have made so far."
