Director Retirement and Board Committee Changes

The Board of Petropavlovsk PLC (the "Company") announces the following changes to the Board and its Board Committees:

· As previously advised, Sir Roderic Lyne retired as a Non-Executive Director of the Company following the conclusion of the Company's Annual General Meeting held on 28 June 2016.

· Upon Sir Roderic's retirement:

· Mr Robert Jenkins has been appointed Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of the Board of the Company;

· Mr Andrew Vickerman has been appointed as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Nomination Committee; and

· Mr Alexander Green has been appointed as Chairman of the HSE Committee.
