Further to 3i Group plc's announcement on 22 September 2016 (RNS 5628K) that Stephen Daintith, a non-executive Director of 3i Group plc, had been appointed as Chief Financial Officer and an executive director of Rolls-Royce Holdings plc with effect from a date in early 2017 to be notified in due course, 3i Group plc has now been notified that Mr Daintith's appointment at Rolls-Royce Holdings plc will take effect on 7 April 2017.

This announcement is made pursuant to paragraph 9.6.14R of the UKLA's Listing Rules.
