Charitable Contribution

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (KS005930, KS005935, SMSN, SMSD) ("SEC") on March 23, 2018 announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the following contribution.

Contribution to local welfare facilities

- SEC will provide around 1,500 welfare facilities each with consumer electronics products worth up to KRW 5 million

for a total contribution of around KRW 7.5 billion to mark its 80th anniversary.
