Benkala Construction Update

Frontier Mining Ltd (AIM: FML), the AIM quoted copper exploration and development company focused on Kazakhstan, is pleased to announcethat further to its announcement on December 19 2011, the Company has now received all construction approval and permits from the Benkala plant commissioning group.

The Benkala plant commissioning group was formed in December 2011 and consists of the various local and central inspection and licensing authorities. Following the completion of the construction approval, the Company will now begin the process of commissioning and licensing all onsite technological equipment. The Company will notify the market on its progress in due course.

Erlan Sagadiev, CEO of Frontier Mining, commented: "We are pleased to have received the construction approval and permitting from the commissioning group. This represents for Frontier the completion of another key milestone in the Benkala project timeline. Progress at the site continues at pace as we enter the next stage of commissioning prior to the commencement of production."
