APPOINTMENT OF MANAGING DIRECTOR AND CEO - AXIS BANK
The Board of Directors of Axis Bank at its meeting held today has, subject to the approval of the RBI and shareholders, recommended the appointment of Ms. Shikha Sharma as the Managing Director and CEO of the Bank. The appointment will be for a period of 5 years.
Mr. P.J. Nayak, Chairman & CEO, dissented from the decision, and informed the Board of Directors that he would be leaving the Bank forthwith.
