Anglo Asian Mining PLC19 July 2007 19th July 2007 ANGLO ASIAN MINING PLC ('Anglo Asian' or 'the Company') Appointment of non-executive Chairman Anglo Asian Mining PLC (AIM:AAZ) is pleased to announce the appointment of MrKhosrow Zamani as Non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect. Mr Zamanirecently joined the Board as Non-Executive Director. Mr Graham Mascall isleaving the Board to concentrate on his other business commitments. Mr. Zamani was previously director of the Southern Europe and Central AsiaDepartment of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sectorlending arm of the World Bank. Whilst a director at IFC, Mr. Zamani wasinstrumental in building the IFC investment programme in the region with severalnew initiatives, particularly in Central Asia and the Caucuses.
