Application Update

Further to the announcement made on 17 April 2009, Taihua provides the following update in relation to its application for a certificate of suitability for paclitaxel:

Taihua confirms that its appointed Chinese regulatory agent, Beijing Canny, has submitted the additional information required in relation to Taihua's application, to the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines ("EDQM"). 

Taihua awaits confirmation from the EDQM that this information has been accepted.
