Promethean PLC12 May 2006 PROMETHEAN PLC Promethean Announces First Exit Promethean PLC, the private equity investment company, announces it hassuccessfully completed its first exit, following the disposal of all of itsshareholding in Walker Greenbank PLC. Promethean, through its investment in the Promethean Investments Fund LP, hasrealised a substantial gain of 45% over its investment cost of £1.52m. Theinternal rate of return is significantly in excess of the fund's target returnon investment. The investment was the first that Promethean made in quoted equities andillustrates the fund's public/private equity investment style.
