Ten Alps, the international TV and cross-platform content business, announces that it has appointed David Galan as Chief Financial Officer of the Company, with effect from 1 January 2016. David will work with the Company's outgoing CFO, Nitil Patel, during a handover period, to affect an orderly transition of the Company's finance function and Nitil's other areas of responsibility.
David has previously worked as a CFO in the early stage technology sector and also with medium sized businesses. David graduated with a first class degree from the University of Leeds, going on to qualify as a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen. He went on to work in investment banking with Teather & Greenwood, gaining experience in corporate finance and M&A. Since 2004 David has held various CEO and CFO roles, including with Picklive Limited, an online gaming start-up and most recently an interim finance role with Casual Dining Group, the owner and operator of the Café Rouge, Bella Italia and Belgo restaurant brands, where he has managed the integration of the group's recent acquisitions of Las Iguanas and La Tasca.
