New €280 million term loan facility signed

 

YouGov, the international online research and data analytics group, is pleased to announce that it has agreed a term and revolving credit facility (the "Facility'") of up to €280 million. The facility is comprised of a €240 million amortising term loan with a tenor of four years and a €40 million Revolving Credit Facility ("RCF") with a tenor of three years (with an option to extend). This Facility replaces the Group's existing £20 million RCF and the Acquisition bridge debt facility, both of which were undrawn and have been cancelled.

 

On 6 July 2023, YouGov announced the intended acquisition of the Consumer Panel Business of GfK SE, subject to regulatory approval, for a headline purchase price of €315 million (the "Acquisition"). The facility will be used to finance the consideration for the Acquisition and for general corporate purposes that support the Group's long-term growth strategy.

 

Alex McIntosh, Chief Finance Officer, commented: "This new facility will provide additional financing for our proposed acquisition of GfK's Consumer Panel Business and provide further firepower for investing in our strategic growth plan. We thank our lenders for their continued support."
