Christopher Sandland appointed Chairman The board of Young & Co.'s Brewery, P.L.C. today announces that ChristopherAndrew Sandland, a non-executive director of Young's, has been appointednon-executive Chairman with immediate effect. This appointment follows the deathof former Chairman, John Young CBE, announced on Monday, 18 September 2006. Christopher Sandland, aged 57, worked for Young's for over 32 years in a varietyof roles, including as Company Secretary from 1987 to 2005 and as PersonnelDirector from 1990 to April 2006.
