Board appointment

The Board of White Young Green plc (the "Group") is pleased to announce the following Board changes, with immediate effect, to strengthen further the executive management team.

Bob Hartley, the current Finance Director, will assume the role of Services Director with responsibilities including commercial, quality assurance, compliance and risk management. He will continue his role as Company Secretary.

David Wilton has been appointed as Finance Director. He was previously Group Finance Director of Adler & Allan Holdings Limited and, prior to that, was a director in the investment banking division of Rothschild. He is a qualified chartered accountant and spent the early part of his career at Price Waterhouse.

These appointments provide the Group with a strong and focused Board of Directors, with Peter Wood as Chairman, Paul Hamer as Group Managing Director, David Wilton as Finance Director and Bob Hartley as Services Director, together with Brian Duckworth, Robert Barr and John Richardson as Non-Executive Directors. 

There is no further information to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13 in respect of Mr Wilton.
