White Young Green PLC21 April 2005 For Immediate Release 21 April 2005 White Young Green Plc APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR AND CORPORATE BROKER White Young Green Plc, consultant to the built, natural and social environment,today announces the appointment of Richard McCaffrey BTech (Hons), MSc, CEng,MICE, MCIWEM, MAPM to the Board as Chief Operating Officer with effect from 1stJuly, 2005. Richard is a Chartered Engineer with over 25 years experience in the water,environmental and engineering markets having successfully delivered majorprojects and managed multi-discipline professional teams within both the publicand private sectors of the economy. Richard joined White Young Green in 2000 and is currently Managing Director ofone of the company's largest and most successful business units. He will beresponsible to the Chief Executive for the day to day management of White YoungGreen's operational business including its support infrastructure. As required under paragraph 6.F.2(d) of the Listing Rules it is noted thatRichard was a director of FP Leach Limited which went into company voluntaryliquidation in November 1991. Following the liquidation the outstandingliabilities amounted to c.£85,000. He is currently a director of White YoungGreen Consulting Limited and Ashfield Design and Development Limited and was adirector of Bullen Consultants Limited until July 2000. There is no further information to be disclosed under paragraphs 6.F.2. (b) -(g) of the Listing Rules in relation to Mr McCaffrey.
