WHITBREAD APPOINTS NEW NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Whitbread PLC is pleased to announce that Dame Cilla Snowball is to be appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company, with effect from 24th January 2023. Cilla will also join the Audit Committee.
Cilla Snowball has a wealth of advertising, marketing and digital experience, having served as Group Chief Executive at Abbott Mead Vickers BDDO Ltd, and on the BBDO Worldwide Board, and Chair of both the Advertising Association and the Women's Business Council. Cilla is a Non-Executive Director at Derwent London plc and Genome Research Ltd as well as serving as a Governor of the Wellcome Trust.
Commenting on the appointment, Adam Crozier, Chairman, said "I am delighted to announce the appointment of Cilla Snowball as a Non-Executive Director. As a senior advertising executive, with experience of leading a people business and a strong understanding of branding, digital and technology, Cilla will be a great asset to the Whitbread Board."
