Directorate Changes

Workspace Group PLC (the "Company") today announces that Chris Girling has informed the Board of his intention to step down as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 7 February 2022 having served nine years on the Board of the Company.

The Board thanks Chris for his significant contribution to the Company during his tenure, in particular his service as Senior Independent Director since July 2014 and Chair of the Company's Audit Committee from July 2014 to July 2021.

The Board is pleased to announce that, following Chris's departure, Rosie Shapland will be appointed as the Company's Senior Independent Director with effect from 7 February 2022.

The Board is also pleased to announce the appointments of Manju Malhotra and Nick Mackenzie as Non-Executive Directors of the Company, both effective 26 January 2022. Manju and Nick will both join the Company's Audit and Nominations Committees.

Manju is CEO at Harvey Nichols, having joined the business in 1998 and progressing through various roles, including CFO and co-COO, before her appointment as CEO. She is also a Non-Executive Director at London & Partners, an international trade and investment agency for London.

Nick was appointed CEO at Greene King in May 2019, having previously held senior roles in the real estate and leisure industry. He was also a Non-Executive Director at Daniel Thwaites PLC from November 2016 until April 2019.

Commenting on the retirement and appointments, Stephen Hubbard, Chairman of Workspace, said:
