Issue of Equity
Director/PDMR Shareholding
Watkin Jones plc (AIM: WJG) announces that it has issued and allotted 211,844 ordinary shares of 1 penny each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") pursuant to the exercise of awards under the Company's Deferred Share Bonus Plan ("DSBP").
Accordingly, application has been made for the 211,844 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). It is expected that Admission will become effective, and that dealings will commence in the new Ordinary Shares at 08.00 a.m. on 18 March 2024. The new Ordinary Shares will rank, pari passu, with the existing Ordinary Shares.
In order to meet the costs of the exercise, and the personal taxation liabilities arising on the exercise, Sarah Sergeant, Chief Financial Officer of the Company, has sold, in aggregate, 44,153 Ordinary Shares, each at a price of 42.66p per Ordinary Share, which is set out in the table below. The balance of the new Ordinary Shares have been retained by Sarah Sergeant.

Total Voting Rights
Following Admission, the Company's total issued share capital will comprise 256,653,097 Ordinary Shares. The Company does not hold any shares in treasury. Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company will be 256,653,097. This figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change of interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure, Guidance and Transparency Rules.
