Renewable Energy Generation Limited ("REG") (AIM: WIND), the UK renewable energy group, today announces that Carlisle City Council has resolved to grant planning permission for the six-turbine Hallburn Wind Farm.
Β
Formal planning permission is expected to follow shortly and subject to the expiry of the six week legal challenge period, the project is expected to enter construction in 2015.

Andrew Whalley, REG Chief Executive Officer, said: "Hallburn benefits from an excellent wind speed and a 12MW project will be an extremely productive addition to our portfolio of operating assets.
