Ireland Group PLC10 April 2006 WH Ireland Group plc ("WH Ireland" or "the Group") AGM Statement WH Ireland, which provides stockbroking, corporate finance, investmentmanagement and financial services to both private and institutional clients, isholding its Annual General Meeting at 10 am today and Chairman, Sir DavidTrippier, will make the following comments: "The stockmarket remains buoyant, as do our trading volumes and turnover, whichare significantly ahead of those of last year. As part of our strategic plan todrive the growth of our business, we have continued to invest heavily in bothpeople and IT since the year end. Our Corporate Finance department is growing revenues by focusing on mandates forlarger projects, with fewer small flotations being undertaken. Consequently, thetiming of completions of some of these major projects may have adisproportionate effect on this division's results.
