Weir Group PLC09 September 2005 THE WEIR GROUP PLC 9 September 2005 Fidelity International Limited ('Fidelity') and FMR Corp notified The Weir GroupPLC ("the Company") on 9 September 2005 that their material interest nowtotalled a holding of 22,477,990 ordinary shares in the Company representing10.95% of the Company's issued share capital as detailed in the table below, andthat such notification also comprised the interest of Edward C.
