Xandr and WANdisco LiveData Webinar

WANdisco (LSE: WAND), the LiveData company, announces that recently secured customer, Xandr, the advertising and analytics division of AT&T will showcase the value of WANdisco's LiveData Platform in a live webinar scheduled for Tuesday, October 6 at 11am EST, please register here.

The webinar, which will be attended by WANdisco customers, partners and Fortune 200 technical leaders, will focus on why Xandr has chosen WANdisco's LiveData Platform; the business and cost benefits it delivers; and why alternative approaches were not viable.

Xandr provides access to one of the world's largest collections of digital film and TV properties (via WarnerMedia), offering a premium option for advertisers and publishers looking to reach specific audiences at scale. 

As part of its cloud migration strategy, Xandr faced a significant challenge in migrating multiple petabytes of on-premises Hadoop data to the cloud, whilst continuing to ingest and process hundreds of terabytes of new data every day. Having previous experience of using open source tools and custom code, Xandr was fully aware of the issues and complexity in performing large scale data migrations. A particular challenge being Xandr's requirement to not take production clusters offline and to complete migration in a single scan.

With WANdisco's LiveData platform, Xandr is able to:

· Automate large-scale Hadoop migration and avoid the need to design custom code;

· Ensure that production clusters are continually available and able to ingest new data every day, without the cost and revenue consequences of system downtime;
