Board Change
WANdisco (LSE: WAND), the data activation platform, announces that non-executive director William Grant Dollens will be stepping down from the Board of Directors, effective from 19 May 2023.
Mr Dollens, appointed on 9 October 2016, has been a non-executive director for over six years. He has now agreed with the Board that having served a six-year term as originally envisaged at the time of his appointment, now is an appropriate time to step down as the Company embarks upon the next phase of development. During his tenure, Mr Dollens has provided invaluable input to Board discussions and his contribution is greatly appreciated. Recently Mr Dollens has been instrumental in securing the appointment of interim Chair Ken Lever, interim CEO Stephen Kelly, and interim CFO Ijoma Maluza.
Mr Dollens will continue to be available to the Board on an ad hoc basis to provide it with the benefit of his knowledge and experience of the Company and its technology.
Mr Dollens commented:
"I have been a non-executive director of WANdisco for more than the originally envisaged two three- year terms and have been a champion of its potential and its technology from the outset. I have worked hard to help put the Company in a position to continue forward with a strong leadership team. I believe strongly in WANdisco's technology and believe that Ken can lead the recovery and rebuilding process well. With Stephen and Ijoma now on board too, I believe the Company has a great opportunity to build a high-quality, global technology business.
I would like to thank the Board as a whole for their hard work and I want to express my gratitude to the WANdisco colleagues who I believe are working incredibly hard through a challenging period."
