Appointment of Chief Financial Officer
Erik Miller appointed as CFO and Board Director
Strong technology sector and equity market experience
WANdisco (LSE: WAND) is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mr. Erik Edwin Miller (56) as Chief Financial Officer and a Director of the Board with immediate effect.
Mr. Miller, who will be based at the Company's San Ramon, California office is a seasoned technology sector executive with over 20 years' experience of shaping and leading the finance functions of both privately and publicly held high-growth technology companies.
Mr. Miller has held a number of senior financial positions, most recently serving between 2010 and 2016 as Chief Financial Officer of Envivio, Inc. - a NASDAQ listed, multinational software-based video processing company. During his tenure, Envivio tripled revenues and successfully listed on NASDAQ in 2012. Envivio was purchased by Ericsson AB in October 2015.
Other notable roles include serving between 2008 and 2010 as Chief Financial Officer of SigNav Pty. Ltd, a multinational developer of GPS-based timing solutions for the telecommunications industry based in Sydney, Australia, and serving between 1994 and 2000 as Chief Financial Officer of Meridian Data, Inc., a developer of network attached storage solutions, a NASDAQ listed company. Mr. Miller's international business experience has also brought him to the UK, notably between 2003 and 2005 where he served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at BlueArc Corporation: a multinational developer of enterprise Network Attached Storage systems, based in Bracknell, UK and San Jose, California.
