Treasury Shares

Vp plc (the "Company") announces that on 28 November 2008 it purchased 550,000 ordinary shares at a price of 119p per ordinary share to be held by the Company as Treasury Shares under the authority granted by shareholders at its last Annual General Meeting.

The Company now holds a total of 550,000 ordinary shares as Treasury Shares out of a total issued share capital of 46,185,000. The Total Voting Rights of the Company are now 45,635,000 ordinary shares and this number should be used to determine any announceable holdings under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
