Victoria Oil & Gas PLC30 June 2005 30 June 2005 Victoria Begins Drilling at West Medvezhye Gas/Gas Condensate Project, Russia The Board of Directors of Victoria Oil & Gas Plc ("Victoria") (tic:VOG) theAIM-listed oil and gas developer in the Former Soviet Union, today announcesthat drilling operations have begun at Well #104 of its West Medvezhye gas andgas condensate project in Russia. Well #104 in the north-east section of the licence area will be drilled down to1,320 metres. The primary target is the Cenomanian rock horizon, which isbelieved to have contained approximately 60 percent of the gas produced inWestern Siberia to date. Target depth is expected to be reached in four weeks and subsequent well loggingand testing must be completed before the results can be determined. Completionof the well test is anticipated in mid to late August.
