Victoria Oil & Gas PLC07 February 2008 Victoria Oil & Gas Plc 7 February 2008 Appointment of New Directors The Board of Directors of Victoria Oil & Gas Plc ("Victoria" or the "Company"),the AIM-quoted oil and gas company focused in the Former Soviet Union, todayconfirms the appointment of four new Directors to the Board, as previouslyannounced. Messrs Rashed Saif Al-Suwaidi, Philip Graeme Rand and Mukhtar Tuyakbayev havebeen appointed as Non-Executive Directors and Mr George William Gareth Donne hasbeen appointed as an Executive Director. Mr. Al Suwaidi (49) is a petroleum engineer and former Exploration andProduction Director for the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. Mr Al Suwaidi isChairman of Horizon Energy LLC, a Middle-Eastern energy consultancy specialisingin oil and gas E&P support services and offshore/onshore facilities and alsoholds directorships with Falcon Petroleum Limited, Al Maha Petroleum ProductsMarketing Co. S.A.O.G., Colombo Dockyards PLC, Maritime Industrial Services Co.Ltd. Inc., Gulf Marine Services, the Horizon Energy LLC group of companies, theAbu Dhabi National Investment Company and Noor Capital PSC & Associates. Mr. Rand (55) has over thirty years of financial experience, of which seventeenhave been in the upstream energy sector and is a Fellow of the Association ofCorporate Treasurers. He is currently chief executive and chief financialofficer of Equator Exploration Limited, an AIM-quoted oil and gas explorationand production company with assets in West Africa and was formerly chieffinancial officer of Burren Energy PLC. Mr. Rand currently holds directorshipswith Falcon Petroleum Limited, Michco 337 Ltd, RS Energy Ltd and previously withCapital Investment Partnership (UK) Ltd and the Utilyx Holdings Limited group ofcompanies. Mr. Tuyakbayev (49) is a Kazakhstan-based businessman, having enjoyed successfulventures in several different fields including more than 10 years in mining andexploration industries. He is currently an executive director of CelticResources Holdings Plc with responsibility for the finding and acquisition ofnew projects, attracting local banks to project financing and relations with FSUstate institutions. As well as Celtic Resources, Mr Tuyakbayev is a director ofAvers LLP, the Auliye group, Soho Central Asia LLP, Discovery Aviation LLP,Central Asia Gifts, DOSAAF Tour, Millennium Projects Limited, Torgay LLP, SourceEngineering LLP and Central Asia Service & Supply LLP. Mr Donne (30) is a former investment banker specialising in natural resourcesand has been the Company's General Manager for over three years based in London.Mr Donne currently holds 229,807 ordinary shares in the Company.
