PDMR Shareholding

Volex plc (the "Company") announces that on 13 August 2013 Mike McTighe, the Company's former Chairman, sold 5,000 ordinary shares of the Company, par value £0.25 ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of £1.15 per share and on 14 August, Mr McTighe sold 5,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of £1.16 per share, representing in total 0.02% of the issued share capital of the Company.

Following these sales, and including the 426,667 Ordinary Shares that Company is in the process of issuing to Mr McTighe pursuant to the exercise of his award under the rules of the Volex Group Plc Non-Executive Directors Long Term Incentive Scheme (as announced on 12 August 2013), Mr McTighe will hold a total of 533,667 Ordinary Shares, representing in aggregate 0.85% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.

This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of the FSA Disclosure and Transparency Rules 3.1.2 to 3.1.4.
