Cellcast plc14 February 2006 Press Release 14 February 2006 Cellcast plc ("Cellcast" or "the Company") Cellcast to launch its first interactive 3G TV programmes Company's 3G strategy will let viewers appear within the TV shows themselves Cellcast plc (AIM:CLTV), a global interactive digital broadcaster, todayannounces its first television show to fully integrate 3G mobile calls fromviewers. Cellcast's popular TV dating programme, Text2date, which is broadcast daily onthe youtv2 channel on the Sky Digital platform, will, later this month, allowmembers of the public with 3G mobile phones to send in video content andparticipate with studio guests and other viewers. The Company recently completed the integration of inbound 3G video into itsproprietary Interactive Platform (CIP). Working with the mobile services companyRequestec, Cellcast plans to roll the technology out across the entire portfolioof its television formats in a fully-moderated, time delayed environment. TheCompany is also integrating Requestec's Fonebar service into its platform toenable video chat between mobile users. The next stage in the evolution of Cellcast's 3G strategy, due to be completedin the first half of 2006, is the addition of a 3G3D module which enables 3Gvideos to be mapped directly onto 3D avatars in the live environment. This willusher in a new style of participation television formats where the user not onlyinteracts from home but appears within the show itself.
