Ventus 2 VCT PLC19 July 2007 VENTUS 2 VCT PLC Interim Management Statement - Quarter ended 31 May 2007 Ventus 2 VCT plc (the "Company") presents its interim management statement forthe period ended 30 June 2007. This constitutes the Company's first interimmanagement statement for the financial year ending 28 February 2008, as requiredby the UK Listing Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 4.3. The Company published its Annual Report on 30 May 2007 covering the first fullyear of investment activity. This interim management statement summarises theinformation as at the date of the Annual Report and further developments up to30 June 2007. Net Asset Value Net Asset Value ("NAV") as at the date of the last Annual Report totalled £10.6million or 94.5 pence per share. There has been no significant change in NAVbetween 28 February 2007 and the date of this report. Dividends The final dividend for the year ended 28 February 2007 of 0.75 pence per sharewas approved at the Annual General Meeting on 2 July 2007. This will be paid on6 August 2007 to all shareholders on the register as at the close of business on13 July 2007 and will result in a total annual dividend of 1.50 pence per share. Investments As at the date of this statement the Company has invested £378,822 in twocompanies. The Company has also entered in to exclusivity agreements with twocompanies in respect of a further £670,000 of potential investments. All investments to date have been or will be structured so as to be treated asqualifying holdings for the purposes of VCT regulations by 1 March 2009. Other than described above, the Board is not aware of any material events duringthe period from 1 March 2007 to the date of this statement which would have hada material impact on the financial position of the Company.
