Ventus VCT plc17 January 2008 Ventus VCT plc17 January 2008 VENTUS VCT PLC Interim Management Statement Ventus VCT plc (the 'Company') presents its second interim management statementfor the financial year ending 29 February 2008, as required by the UK ListingAuthority's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 4.3. The Company published its Half-yearly Financial Report on 30 October 2007covering the first half of the third full year of investment activity. Thisinterim management statement summarises the information as at the date of theHalf-yearly Financial Report and further developments up to the date of thisstatement. Net Asset Value As at 31 December 2007 the NAV totalled £14.1 million or 94.3 pence per share.There has been no significant change in NAV between 31 December 2007 and thedate of this report. Dividends An interim dividend for the financial year ending 29 February 2008 of 1.50 penceper share was declared on 30 October 2007. This was paid on 16 January 2008 toall shareholders on the register as at the close of business on 14 December2007. Investments As at the date of this statement the Company has invested £7.9 million in atotal of nine companies. £7.8 million of this has been or will be structured soas to be treated as qualifying holdings for the purposes of VCT regulations,representing 82% of the amount required to be invested in qualifying investmentsby 1 March 2008. The Company has also entered into exclusivity agreements withfour companies in respect of a further £3.2 million of potential qualifyinginvestments. Other than described above, the Board is not aware of any events during theperiod from 1 September 2007 to the date of this statement which would have hada material impact on the financial position of the Company.
