Directorate Change

Victoria announces that Mr Aram Shishmanian has advised the Board of his intention to step down from his position as a Non-Executive Director following the announcement of the Group's Half Year results planned on 12th November 2008. He leaves Victoria to join the World Gold Council as its Chief Executive Officer.

Aram joined Victoria last year taking the roles of Senior Independent Non-Executive Director, Chairman of the Audit Committee and was a member of both the Remuneration and Nominations Committees.

Alexander Anton, Chairman, of Victoria PLC said:

The Board has begun the process to identify a successor for Aram, and will announce an appointment in due course.
