NEXT GENERATION EPOS INSTALLED IN 70TH SITE FOR RONTEC
Universe Group plc (AIM: UNG.L), a leading developer and supplier of point of sale, payment and on-line loyalty systems, announces that it has installed its next generation point of sale, back office and head office solution on to the 70th site for leading petrol forecourt operator Rontec.
Rontec is a major player in the UK industry, operating over 240 forecourts across England and Wales. It partners with leading brands such as Esso, BP, Texaco and Shell as well as Spar, Morrisons, and Shop N' Drive. Site acquisitions have driven strong growth in recent years with Rontec looking to improve their retail management systems in both the forecourt and the stores.
HTEC, the Universe subsidiary, already the supplier of payment systems to Rontec, were selected and the two companies have been working together to deliver the latest EPOS technology. Deployment commenced in 2017 and is continuing.
