KCC Cabinet Member for Resources Kevin Lynes said: "We experience differentpressures every day. Often, these motivate us and help us perform well, butsometimes we can feel there is too much pressure and this can have an effect onour health and general wellbeing. This online programme, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, is another way we are supporting staff inlooking after their health and wellbeing." Staff can learn simple techniques tomanage their time and demands more effectively and help them relax more, theprogramme offers a wide range of fact sheets, including reference to additionalsupport material. KCC's Chief Executive, Mike Pitt, added: "KCC is committed to making the councila great place to work and the health and wellbeing of staff is a top priority."Maintaining our position as an 'Excellent' council relies on the passion,commitment and quality of our staff. This initiative and others, such as freehealth checks for staff, flexible working hours and development and trainingopportunities, contribute to a healthy and competent workforce who can deliverexcellent services to the people of Kent."
