Contract win for Ultrasis and GetFit Technologies with NHS Suffolk
Ultrasis Plc are pleased to announce a 3-year contract to provide its health and wellbeing programs to NHS Suffolk, the county's primary care trust. The GetFit Wellness suite of award winning wellbeing programs will support NHS Suffolk to deliver the community initiative Healthy Ambitions Suffolk, launched in November 2008 under the umbrella of the Suffolk Strategic Partnership. Under the wellbeing programs, local people will be able to assess their current health and wellbeing, gain online access to personalised support programs and connect to local resources, designed to help engage them in healthier living. Online support programs available will include GetFit Wellness's physical activity, nutrition and weight management services as well as Ultrasis's relief series of self help programs for emotional health.
Commenting on the partnership, Sally Hogg, head of health improvement partnerships at NHS Suffolk, said: "The GetFit lifestyle programs are proven to engage individuals in positive behaviour change, so we are delighted to be working with Ultrasis as part of the Healthy Ambitions Suffolk project as we strive to help the people of Suffolk become the healthiest in Britain."
