Ultrasis PLC18 February 2008 Ultrasis Appoints Advisory Board Ultrasis plc, the provider of cognitive behavioural therapy ("CBT") delivered bycomputer, best known for its flagship product, "Beating the Blues", a therapyfor people suffering anxiety and mild to moderate depression, announces theestablishment of an Advisory Board comprised of prominent figures in the healthcare sector. The Board will ensure the company remains at the forefront ofdeveloping technology solutions based on proven CBT treatment principles, helpUltrasis in its task of meeting society's increasing mental health needs andadvise on ethical matters associated with the provision of mental healththerapy, regulatory compliance and the changing environment of public andprivate sector provision. Chaired by Ultrasis Chairman, former Minister of State for Health Gerald Malone,the Ultrasis Advisory Board members are: Sir Christopher Kelly KCB, a former Permanent Secretary of the Department ofHealth, Chairman of the NSPCC and the Financial Ombudsman Service and Chairmanof the Committee on Standards in Public Life;. Lord Victor Adebowale CBE, a social enterprise ambassador, coordinator of theMinisterial Advisory Group on mental health for black and minority ethnicgroups, Chief Executive of Turning Point, the UK's leading social careorganisation and, among other appointments, President of the CommunityPractitioners and Health Visitors Association. Professor Sir David Goldberg, Professor Emeritus - formerly Professor - ofPsychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry, a long-time advisor to the Departmentof Health Professor Goldberg previously chaired the NICE guidelines fordepression, published in 2004 and currently chairs the NICE guidelines fordepression in physical illness.
