Ultrasis PLC15 June 2005 Ultrasis PLC FIRST CANADIAN ORDER OPENS THE DOOR TO NEW MARKET FOR ULTRASIS Interactive healthcare specialists, Ultrasis, have entered the Canadian marketfor the first time following an agreement with Family Services EmployeeAssistance Programs (FSEAP) in Toronto for licences to use both the UltrasisRelief Series and its Beating the Blues programs. Pioneering Ultrasis' products in Canada, the Toronto based non-profit franchiseis part of a wider network of FSEAP agencies which provide counselling servicesto individuals through their employers. The Relief Series is designed to identify, educate, motivate and monitor peoplesuffering from anxiety, depression, stress and insomnia. The program is easy touse, even for those with no computer experience and ideal for anyone requiringcomplete privacy. Beating the Blues is a clinically proven program which delivers ComputerisedCognitive Behavioural Therapy (CCBT). The program uses interactive modules,animation and voice-overs to engage and motivate the user and has recentlyreceived the endorsement of the National Institute for Clinical Excellence(NICE) in the UK, as an effective treatment for mild and moderate depression. John Hill, Vice President of Ultrasis Inc announced; "This is an exciting stepforward for Ultrasis in the North American market. Not only is this our firstCanadian client, but Employee Assistance Programs represent a key market for usand this is a first foot in the door.
