Ukrproduct Group Ltd13 November 2007 UKRPRODUCT GROUP LIMITED (the "GROUP") INTEGRATED SET OF EQUIPMENT FOR WHEY PURIFICATION, CONDENSATION AND CRYSTALLISATION IS INSTALLED AND FULLY OPERATIONAL AT STARKON PLANT As part of the continuing enhancement of the Group's manufacturing capability,an integrated set of equipment for whey purification, condensation andcrystallisation has been purchased and installed and is now fully operational atthe Group's Starkon Plant. Liquid whey, a main by-product of the hard-cheesemaking process, can now be processed at the Starkon site to yield dry whey. Thiswill replace substantially all the dry whey previously purchased from a thirdparty for use in the production of processed cheese at the Group's MolochnikPlant. Dry whey is also a viable commercial product in its own right, withstrong on-going demand both domestically in Ukraine and internationally. Inaddition, the environmental implications of the installation are beneficial asthere is no residual disposal requirement due to the full processing of theby-product. The equipment cost £240,000 to acquire and install and allows the production ofup to 130 tonnes of dry whey per month when at maximum capacity. It isanticipated that the commercial impact of the equipment will be to addapproximately £15,000 per month to the Group's operating profit.
