USΒ CommercialΒ &Β InstitutionalΒ markets

~ Co-branded pest control products to reach restaurants and hotels ~

TyraTech, Inc. (AIM: TYR), a leading independent novel clean technology company for human, animal and environmental health,Β announced todayΒ that it hasΒ expanded its Strategic Business Relationship Agreement withΒ Terminix International ("Terminix"),Β the largest professional pest control company in theΒ world. The amended relationship will address the development and commercialisation of co-branded TyraTech Nature's Technologyβ„’Β products for theΒ USΒ commercialΒ andΒ institutional market segments, andΒ buildsΒ onΒ the Company's existingΒ agreementΒ with Terminix, announced on 24Β November 2008, to develop and market TyraTech productsΒ for theΒ residentialΒ pest control markets. Terminix recently began selling the firstΒ co-branded TyraTech product - SafeShieldβ„’Β - into the residential market, which provides a safe, natural product for the control of household insects.

Highlights

The amendedΒ AgreementΒ contemplates theΒ development,Β supply,Β marketing and co-branding of TyraTech Nature's Technology products in theΒ USΒ for commercial,Β institutional and governmentΒ markets

TyraTech's existing commercialΒ productsΒ will be transitioned into the new TerminixΒ commercialΒ and institutionalΒ market product offeringsΒ ("Commercial product offering"). These productsΒ are expected toΒ be launched by Terminix inΒ theΒ second half of 2009Β 

TyraTechΒ willΒ develop and manufactureΒ allΒ products, with Terminix responsible forΒ theΒ commercialisation, marketing, and salesΒ of the co-brandedΒ CommercialΒ product offerings via national broad-line distribution in the food service industry,Β in addition to developing andΒ supporting other new commercial and governmentΒ channelsΒ 

Both partiesΒ willΒ continue toΒ discuss theΒ development, marketing, and selling ofΒ additional co-branded products and solutions forΒ residential pest control marketsΒ as well as continuing theΒ expansion of the partnership into new areas.

Under theΒ amendedΒ Agreement, Terminix and TyraTech will work togetherΒ onΒ theΒ developmentΒ and marketing ofΒ new and existingΒ pest control products,Β incorporating TyraTech Nature's Technology, through TyraTech's and Terminix's establishedΒ market channels within the US commercialΒ andΒ institutional marketsΒ forΒ use inΒ commercial establishments such as restaurants,Β schools,Β institutions, officesΒ andΒ hotels.Β TerminixΒ currentlyΒ provides pest control forΒ more thanΒ 2.8 millionΒ homes and businesses against all types of pests in 45Β USΒ states.Β 

These co-branded products will beΒ launchedΒ in 2009Β withΒ a new combined brand based onΒ insectΒ control that isΒ highly effective andΒ environmentally friendly.Β In addition to the launch of the existing products, the companies willΒ consider theΒ development ofΒ newΒ co-branded pesticide products.Β 

TyraTech's Nature TechnologyΒ has beenΒ developedΒ based onΒ its proprietary natural ingredients that have been engineered to deliver powerful insect control that is safe for use in homes and businesses against aΒ broad spectrum of common commercial pests including drain flies, fruit flies, cockroaches and ants.Β
