Tertiary Minerals PLC31 October 2007 Tertiary Minerals plc (the "Company") Placing of Shares The Company announces today that it has raised £727,280, before expenses,through a placing of 9,091,000 ordinary shares at 8p each. The net proceeds fromthis placing will be used to fund various drilling programmes currently inprogress and planned on several of the company's exploration projects in theNordic countries, and for working capital. These shares have been placed withinstitutional and other investors by the Company's broker, Seymour PierceLimited. Application for the admission to AIM of the new ordinary shares has been madeand dealings are expected to commence on 7 November 2007. The new ordinaryshares rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares and are identical inall respects.
