Sub: Resignation of Director

This is to inform you that Mr. David W. Crane (DIN: 09354737), Independent Director of the Company has conveyed his intention to step down from the Board of the Company with effect from September 5, 2022.

The details required under Regulation 30 of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 ('Listing Regulations') read with Clause 7B of Part A of Schedule III of the Listing Regulations are provided herein below.

1. Reason for Resignation: Mr. David W. Crane has stated in his letter that he will be joining the United States Department of Energy as the Director of the Office of Clean Energy Demonstration. The said position requires him to step off from all private sector positions. 

2. Confirmation from the Independent Director: Mr. David W. Crane has confirmed that there are no other material reasons other than the one mentioned above, for his resignation as Independent Director of Tata Steel Limited. The letter of resignation along with this confirmation received from Mr. David W. Crane is enclosed herewith.  

3. Names of the listed entities in which Mr. David W. Crane holds directorship: None
