Trans-Siberian Gold PLC15 September 2005 news release For immediate release: 15 September 2005 Trans-Siberian Gold plc Directorate Changes LONDON: 15 September 2005 - Trans-Siberian Gold plc ("TSG" or "the Company") ispleased to announce the appointment of Ben Guenther as a nominated directorrepresenting AngloGold Ashanti, in place of Gordon Wylie. Ben Guenther (53) graduated from the Colorado School of Mines as a miningengineer in 1974. Until 1986, he held various managerial positions at miningoperations in the USA owned or operated by Hanna Mining Company. From 1987 to1994 he was general manager at the Cannon Mine of Asamera Minerals in the USA.He then joined AngloGold (now AngloGold Ashanti) as senior vice presidentgeneral manager of Jerritt Canyon mine in Nevada, USA and in 2000 was secondedto AngloGold's corporate office in Johannesburg as head of mining. In 2001, heassumed some responsibilities for safety and health, as well as heading up thecorporate technical group. He was appointed an executive officer of AngloGoldAshanti in May 2004. TSG also announces the resignation, for personal reasons, of Nirmal Sethia whohas been a non-executive director of the Company since March 2001.
