Transense Technologies PLC08 August 2007 Transense Technologies plc ("Transense") Patent Administration Agreement with Schott AG Transense and Schott AG ("Schott"), of Mainz, Germany, have signed a PatentAdministration Agreement concerning jointly developed intellectual property forthe packaging of Transense's patented Surface Acoustic Wave ("SAW") torquesensors. Under the terms of the agreement, Schott has exclusive rights tomanufacture the packages that are the subject of the invention and Transensewill receive a royalty on every package sold. The filed patent should lead toimprovements in the performance of torque sensors, and also to facilitate thevolume production of the packaged sensors. Schott are already approved suppliersto another of Transense's licensees, Honeywell, and Honeywell has made publicits intention to start volume production of SAW torque sensors in 2008.
