Tower Resources PLC01 February 2006 Tower Resources plc Press Release For immediate release: 1 February 2006 Tower Resources plc Tower Resources appoints Peter Kingston as non-executive Chairman Tower Resources plc ("TRP"), the AIM listed oil and gas explorer withexploration licences in Namibia and Uganda has appointed Peter Kingston asnon-executive Chairman with immediate effect. Peter (62) is currently Deputy Chairman and Senior Independent Director of SocoInternational plc. During his 40 year career in the oil and gas industry, Peterhas held non-executive directorships with Northern Petroleum plc and PowergenNorth Sea Limited. From 1984 until 1992, he was Technical Director of EnterpriseOil plc and prior to that he was an independent oil and gas consultant for sixyears. He started his career with Shell as a petroleum reservoir engineer and played aleading role in the development of Shell's earliest oil field developments inthe UK North Sea.
