Director/PDMR Shareholding

Bayfield Energy Holdings plc ("Bayfield" or the "Company"), (Ticker Symbol: BEH), an upstream oil and gas exploration and production company with interests in Trinidad and Russia, announces that it was informed on 10 October 2011 that Andrey Pannikov, a non-executive director of the Company, has bought 675,000 ordinary shares in the Company at an average price of 50.65p per share.

Following this purchase, Mr Pannikov is interested in 38,513,363 ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 17.95 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.

Mr Pannikov intends to transfer the purchased shares as well as 1,901,226 shares currently held in his name to Lion Invest & Trade Limited, a company wholly owned by him.
