Strengthened Management Board

Tracsis, a developer and consolidator of resource optimisation, data capture and reporting technologies to the transport industries is pleased to announce that it has strengthened the Management Board of the Group with the promotion of Andy Whawell and Steve Brown.

Steve has worked with Tracsis since joining via the acquisition of RWA Rail in 2008. Having a Masters' degree in Rail Systems Engineering and previously having held a position with AEA Technology Rail (now DeltaRail) he is a seasoned rail professional with extensive experience in the industry. Steve will assume the position of Business Development Director.

Andy was Operations Director of MPEC Technology at the time of its acquisition by Tracsis in May 2011 and has continued to work as Managing Director of this division. Having joined the rail industry in 1996, Andy worked for Balfour Beatty in maintenance and projects before joining their signalling technologies division in 2001. His responsibilities in this role were to develop business for and deliver new products into the signalling industry. Andy Whawell is now Director of Infrastructure Services.
